Big News this week for the ThreeOneFive boys! BABY GIRL- our mature content book – will be running as a backup story in Hell Yeah #3. Buy that book, and then someday when we are famous, sell it on eBay. This is a get-in-on-the-ground-floor opportunity knocking! You can name your boat after us. The boat you can afford because you took a chance on two regular dudes and one abs model from Arizona. Do it!
Let’s talk about the Daredevils! Chapter two gets going with a short recap and a ‘getting to know you’ moment with the crew. While we saw some of the characters interact with each other in the first chapter, here at the start of chapter two we took the opportunity to throw in a little extra nugget about everybody through the use of some fun melodramatic captions. I’d like to note that Matt was able to construct a sentence on this page that had four commas, a semi-colon, and an ellipse in it. Impressive… most impressive.
Another key to the page was the liberal use of “Spielberg Face” that Danillo was able to capture so beautifully on each of the characters in this scene. While most commonly used on the silver screen, we sought to break the boundaries of film and comic by boldly deploying what may be the best use of “face” outside of Temple of Doom.

Who wore it best?
In case you are not familiar with the “face”, here is a short documentary on the subject.
We also get a good look at the Custer here. For those of you at home keeping track, the Custer is a severely modified United States Navy Gato Class Submarine. The extent of it’s modifications are at this time classified, but as time goes by they will be revealed. Our resident tech wizard Dan is the official Keeper of the Custer, and we will hear from him about the technical aspects of the ship on the blog in the weeks to come. From the onset of this project we wanted to have some historical anchors that fastened the story into reality. The Custer is a big part of this, and other than a couple sweet thrusters on the aft of the vessel, it is drawn pretty accurately.

Keepin' it real

In the mean time, why not follow us on Twitter? Matt handles the tweetings around here, discussing issues ranging from every day stuff like movies and comics, nerdy awesome stuff like pro wrestling, and heartwarming topics like being a new dad. It’s about 20% interesting. But that’s way above the Twitter average.
And then like us on ->Facebook<- and download a certificate good for one jumping high-five if you ever see us at a convention.
That’s the Lunch for 4/29/12
To the Future,
